Description

A chunky pine sign that says THANKFUL — and the art in the middle of it is your child's own painted handprint, stamped right onto the board. Under it, on the back, they sign their name and the year. It is a Thanksgiving decoration and a time capsule in the same board.

The grown-up cuts, sands, and base-coats the board; the kid stamps the handprint, dabs the letters through the printable stencil tiles, adds leaf doodles, and signs the back. The stencil letters print true size (verified against the 1-inch check square), so the word comes out clean even with a wobbly hand on the brush.

Inside: the grown-up / kid job split, tools and materials list, five illustrated steps in full color (prep, the handprint press, stencil lettering, sign-and-seal, hang or display), the full-size THANKFUL stencil page, three display options (wall, leaner, front door), a troubleshooting table, and a checklist with a project record page.

Perfect for parents, grandparents, and anyone who gives (or wants to receive) a handmade Thanksgiving keepsake instead of a store-bought sign. Ages 4+ with help, 7+ mostly solo after the board is prepped.

This is a digital download. You'll receive a PDF eBook (12 pages, full color) instantly after purchase. No physical item will be shipped, and no materials are included — the guide walks you through the project with supplies you likely already have.

Materials needed: Pine board · Non-toxic acrylic craft paint · Sandpaper and sanding block · Cardstock (for stencil tiles) · Paint pen (for signing the back) · Picture hanger or display stand
