Tommy Tank’s Big Parade

A Rhyming Celebration Story for Kids Ages 3–6

Rumble, rumble — the parade is about to begin! Tommy Tank's Big Parade is a rhyming celebration picture book starring Tommy Tank, the friendliest green tank in town, with big kind amber eyes, a little red flag on his antenna, and a cannon that's really a party horn.

A shiny red invitation asks Tommy to lead the town parade, and he gets to work: scrubbing his chunky treads until they gleam, tying red-and-blue bunting and golden ribbons, and practicing his happy rumble nice and slow. On parade morning the whole town turns out — flags wave, kids cheer "Hooray for Tommy!", the marching band tootles, the fire truck sprays rainbow mist, and the mayor waves till his arm is sore.

Then Tommy aims his cannon at the sky like a party horn — POP! — and showers the street in confetti and streamers. Pure silliness, zero combat, 100% celebration.

Every spread rhymes, so it reads aloud like music — perfect for bedtime or story time. 16 full-color spreads (~547 words), soft watercolor art, and Tommy's consistent friendly face on every page. Written for ages 3–6, especially truck- and vehicle-obsessed 3, 4, and 5-year-olds, and a go-to gift from parents, grandparents, and aunts/uncles who shop "books for boys."

Illustrations created with AI assistance and carefully art-directed for consistency; every page was hand-checked.
