Tow Truck’s Helping Hook

A Rhyming Kindness Story for Kids Ages 3–6

Hook, line, and rescue! Tow Truck's Helping Hook is a rhyming kindness picture book starring Hook — a sturdy orange tow truck with big helpful eyes and a bright yellow helping hook — who spends his whole day rescuing friends.

Morning brings a tiny blue car stuck in the ditch. At noon, an old gray van with a flat tire needs a tow to the shop. That afternoon, a yellow delivery truck gets wedged beneath a low stone bridge. And when evening rain turns the road to mud, Hook's best friend Daisy the green dump truck slides right off the road — Hook's biggest pull yet! One by one, Hook winches every friend free, and at day's end they all gather round to honk and beep their thanks.

The message lands gentle and clear: the happiest hook is the one that helps — big job or small. Every spread rhymes, so it reads aloud like music — perfect for bedtime or story time. 16 full-color spreads (~534 words), soft watercolor art, and a consistent Hook on every page. Written for ages 3–6, especially truck-obsessed boys, and a go-to gift about kindness from parents, grandparents, and aunts/uncles who shop "books for boys."

Illustrations created with AI assistance and carefully art-directed for consistency; every page was hand-checked.
